Reparation for gays got me thinking

OK, there's this guy from the New York Times who recently wrote an article calling for reparation for gays...Not just an apology but financial compensations which would go a long way to restore their dignity.....Which got me thinking.....

I am thinking about starting a "REPARATION FOR LEFT HANDED PEOPLE'' because of all the discrimination WE faced growing up. As children we were..Well, some of us....Forced to alter hand favouritism from left to right under duress. The one's who changed we thought of as traitors to the cause.

Then there's the utensils made only for right handed people which forced left handers to try to adapt. For the most part it didn't help and, in many cases, left handers were constantly visiting the local hospitals emergency departments. For stitches.

I could go on and on about the discrimination and the feeling of being an outcast. Well, it stops NOW!!!!

I DEMAND COMPENSATION !

Or a pair of left handed scissors.
 

I'm with you, Moosehead!

I also want reparations.

Being a woman I cannot walk outside at night without fear, have been seen as a brainless sex symbol and, being blonde, have been made fun of as being stupid.

These and more, have damaged my psyche, hurt my feelings and made my life hell.

I demand compensation!

I don't know of any credible Gay organization, which is opting for reparations for Gays. I do know that the NYPD recently apologized for the routine raids on Gay bars, where patrons were severely beaten, strip searched, spit on, lined up, vulgarly berated, and jailed for trivial charges. And the so called reason for the police raids was the bar was selling alcohol after 2 AM. Why patrons had to be brutalized by police for the bar's liquor violation was never explained.
And I guess the idea of Black reparations is funny.
 

How about people who wear glasses? I, and many other children who wore spectacles, were called 'speccy four eyes'. I'm sure it has given us a complex and affected our life choices! I demand compensation!
What about people with a lisp? This is a handicap to normal conversation. How much prejudice and ridicule have they been subjected to? They should demand compensation!

I demand compensation for having to walk with a cane and wearing glasses!!
 
I wear glasses, I was morbidly obese for half my life & I have diabetes.

I demand compensation for having a candy store in school & for selling junk foods in the cafeteria - that made me fat, causing mental anguish & diabetes.

The idea of reparations for any one &/or any group, is ridiculous. The sins of the father [so to speak] should not be the responsibility of the son. And those that may have actually suffered have no way of collecting any such reparation, due to time and or death.

I was just thinking, if anyone deserves reparation is the American Indian, we took their land, killed their families and then marched them to an area that only spiders, snakes, lizards etc. could survive. :cry: Then maybe me as I have polish ancestry and had to suffer through all those Polish jokes as a child. I was ashame of my Polish ancestry and never told anyone, then as I grew older I would tell persons if they told another Polish joke I would kick their ass. I had a Polish flag license plate on the front of my truck, but some one stoled it one night and never replaced it as the one I had was custom made. :wtf:

You can't be talking about gays becoming the majority. Therefore, although you won the color lottery by being born a white male you're obviously squawking over race.
