I so enjoy her movies, TV series. I saw this for the first time, from 1997 "Miracle in the Woods". Della was wonderful in this one:

Sad news.

I saw her at a concert in San Francisco way back in 1985. She was a substitute for Sarah Vaughn who was ill. A lot of patrons asked for their money back but we stayed and thoroughly enjoyed her performance.

I have a special admiration for people who spend a lifetime bringing entertainment and pleasure to the public.

Sleep peacefully, Della. You have earned your rest.
