Any rugby fans out there? American football it is not.

The Haka is over and the All Blacks and the Wallabies are going hammer and tongs to see who the world champions will be.

I've never been a rugby fan but started watching this World Cup as hubby is a big fan. Don't know all the rules but I'm enjoying it. We're not happy with the bad call in the match where Scotland lost by one point! He's got lots of relatives in Australia, but, sorry, we like the All Blacks.

Husband's brother has lived in Oz for about 35 years, so I'm guessing he wants them to win. Although I'm betting he'd prefer Scotland to win.

I don't actually care who wins. I'm only watching it because I'm wide awake right now.

The Kiwis seem to be the ones in charge of the field.

I would be on the edge of my seat or jumping up and down if I was Aussie!! I was on edge watching Scotland play!

Rugby is my favourite sport to watch, but I was away on holiday for almost 4 weeks so missed several games...................agree about the bad call with Scotland, they played on the day I arrived home and in time to watch the game.:)

This afternoon I was routing for the All Blacks and gutted I didn't pay a visit to the bookmaker before hand, not that would know how to place a bet as I have never been inside a bookmakers.:D

I'm awake again now and my congratulations to the All Blacks. A well deserved win.
I gather it got fairly exciting in the second half but the result was never really in doubt.

Aaw, Bless 'em.

I've always had a soft spot for the Kiwis ever since the scandalous underarm bowling incident.
The Aussies often need taking down a peg or two and I enjoy seeing the New Zealanders doing it.

I am very fond of saying I only watch if Wales is playing rugby, and they haven't done that for thirty years or more!

As with so many other sports, money and politics have ruined it.
