Russell Brand expecting accusations soon.

Funny, we live in a time when the man is guilty by well, being a man. Women can be vindictive and lie about these things.
Three accused Judge Kavanaugh and they proved to be false, and there are many other cases.
Lets see what transpires....God, we are so quick to judge.

Having said what have, I have reflected somewhat. Just because I and many others do not like Brand, his personality, it doesn't mean he is guilty of anything. Just because he is promiscuous, by his own admission, doesn't mean he raped or otherwise harmed any woman.

I disagree with this trial by media in principle. It IS now too frequent and goes too far.
If he did do wrong, then he must be accountable and it is all about evidence and law.

Do you actually think the Times and Dispatches went after Russel Brand because some people dislike him ?... this is how Saville got away with all his crimes because people turned a blind eye to it...for years..

This isn't to say Brand has committed any crimes, he's been accused by several women of being a S..exual predator and Rapist.....thus far !

Then it is even more sad they did not have the guts to come forward before a decade.... and protect any other women who might have taken a job with this guy..... i wonder if one early accuser could have prevented another accuser of being assaulted .....

Do not get me wrong some thing may have happened to them but #1 working for they should have heard rumors or such to distant themselves AND even quit ........but what did they do to protect any other women taking a job with this person.
Exactly.... this makes me angry. Keeping silent and letting other women meet the same fate is despicable of these women.

The BBC and Channel 4 are likely to face questions after turning a blind eye to Russell Brand's behaviour while he worked for them.

Television insiders predict bosses from the broadcasters will be called before a Government select committee for a grilling.

Last night the BBC confirmed that it did not investigate complaints made about Brand between 2006 and 2008 when he hosted shows for Radio 2 and 6 Music.

During his time there it was claimed that the comedian would strip naked and make sexual remarks about newsreader Andrea Simmons, describing her on air as 'erotic' and a 'sex bomb', and told his listeners that he would like to 'go under the desk' while she was reading the news.

Several times after this it is implied that Brand was forced to apologise by production staff.

Two of the women in Channel 4's Dispatches which aired on Saturday night said they felt production companies had 'enabled' Brand's behaviour.

This guy really could use a good shave and a nice hair cut but who am I to "blow against the wind".

I'm sure he is very popular with some people and he makes a lot of money which seems to be really important to some folks. Personally, I wouldn't want to meet this guy in some deserted back alley.

Ted Bundy was really clean cut for the times in which he lived but there wasn't a more sadistic serial killer in the 70's. I wouldn't want to judge what a person is or is not guilty of based on his physical appearance.

I don't remember Judge Kavanaugh ever facing a jury of his peers? A job interview for SCOTUS, yes, but that was not exactly impartial.

I'm no fan of the guy. I'm pretty sure he is being persecuted for his current political positions though. I'm not convinced he's committed to those, it is probably just a paycheck. Once he flips watch him be lauded as born again by the media, washed clean of sin.
Oh fgs he's not affecting anyone in the UK politically... he's being investigated in the UK for those actions against women, there's been no mention of them suing him for money ... why is this so hard for people to understand ? No wonder women have such a trouble reporting S.exual assault.. when so few people believe them. FGS it makes my blood boil

So you don't like him then? One thing is for sure, I would rather snog him than Cliff Richards.
Bitter Woman Syndrome: How to Overcome Bitterness
Not to change the subject, but I have worked with several women that fit the Bitter Woman Syndrome. I've also would not put it past a few of them to start trouble where no trouble or problem existed with a man (or another woman).

If someone does something wrong to you & you stay silent & don't report it ... shame on you. Actions like that could make other women think they won't be believed if they report a crime at the time it happened. They're not taking in account of these other women waited a long time to say something.

In LE, I've seen more than once where a woman claimed rape in order to hide stepping out on her husband/boyfriend or to get even with a guy. The false claims for sexual assault had reports taken, evidence collected & then the complainant failed to follow through on charges. What I mean by not following through on charges is that the woman wouldn't show up to talk to detectives, avoided phone calls & all contact with the detectives trying to investigate what was reported by them.

Then you have cases that that there is no doubt that something happened to these women. These real victims showed up & talked to the detectives. They wanted justice & cooperated doing everything they could to see that it happened.

Repeated warnings over Russell Brand to TV bosses made his 'sinister behaviour' an open secret among BBC and Channel 4 executives - it has been claimed as alleged concerns reach back as far as 2004.

It comes amid reports that accusations about his 'sinister' behaviour towards women was an 'open secret' among TV and radio executives following a joint investigation by The Sunday Times, The Times and Channel 4 Dispatches.

Bosses at the BBC and Channel 4 are accused of turning a blind eye towards the entertainer while he worked for them as a presenter between 2006 and 2013.

The broadcasters insisted they took all necessary steps to deal with him, but executives could still be called before a Government select committee where MPs will grill them over what they knew.

Channel 4 and the BBC have since launched probes into Russell Brand's behaviour in light of allegations of predatory behaviour towards staff and audience members in the wake of separate rape and sexual assault allegations, as friends of the comedian begin to distance themselves from him.

The first time the star's behaviour was reported is claimed to be while he was working on EFourum and Big Brother's Big Mouth between 2004 and 2006.

But one researcher alleges they complained about Brand pursuing audience members for sex, but their concerns were dismissed.
What did TV bosses hear about Russell Brand, and when were they told?

After Russell Brand was hit with accusations of rape and sexual assault, more women have come forward with allegations about how he has treated them, it has emerged.

The Times and Sunday Times claim 'several women' have come forward with undisclosed allegations about Brand's behaviour during the early 2000s in wake of their joint investigation with Channel 4 which was published on Saturday.

The latest allegations - which the newspaper says have not been investigated, but will now be 'rigorously checked' - follow accusations from four women, including one who claims she was sexually assaulted by Brand during a three-month relationship with him when she was 16 and still at school.

The BBC is now also facing 'urgent questions' after it was claimed that Brand, 48, used his company-provided car service to pick the girl up from school.

It comes as both BBC and Channel 4 have launched internal investigations into separate accusations of predatory behaviour by Brand towards staff and audience members during the time of his employment.

Channel 4 has since removed all programmes linked to Brand from its website, including episodes of The Great British Bake Off and Big Brother's Big Mouth in which he was featured, The Daily Telegraph reported.

Netflix has since been urged to remove his comedy special, titled Re:Birth, from its streaming catalogue.
More women come forward to accuse Russell Brand after sex allegations

Channel 4, BBC and the police have all launched probes into Russell Brand's behaviour in light of rape and sexual assault allegations, as friends of the comedian begin to distance themselves from him.

The Metropolitan Police have begun enquiries into allegations of sexual assault published yesterday in The Sunday Times and on Channel 4's Dispatches.

The show saw multiple women accusing him of abusive and predatory behaviour, including rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse, between 2006 and 2013.

Officers have spoken to The Sunday Times following the report and have now encouraged any potential victims to come forwards. At this time, the force has 'not received any reports in relation' to the allegations of sexual assault detailed in the article or documentary.

Met Police intends to further speak with the newspaper and broadcaster in a bid to 'ensure that any victims of crime who they have spoken with are aware of how they may report any criminal allegations to police'.

It comes as Channel 4 and the BBC have both launched internal investigations into separate accusations of predatory behaviour towards staff and audience members by Brand during the time of his employment.

Banijay UK, which produced Big Brother's EForum and Big Brother's Big Mouth in the early 2000s, revealed it had also 'launched an urgent investigation' into the 'very serious' allegations from former staff who worked alongside Brand when he hosted the programmes between 2004 and 2006.

The ex-staffers have claimed that Brand got them to 'act like pimps' by getting the numbers of women in the audience and passing notes to them from the presenter.
