Sad news everyone, our friend AZJim Has Died .

Jim was an extraordinary being, that stood tall in understated class

There are a hand full of others here that stand in that limited space

It's what puts this forum in another realm for me

Gary a treasure for you from a dear friend ... his last PM to me was this....

I just think of this song when I think of our friend Jim. Here is is with his beloved wife Detta, may they both rest peacefully and know they are loved and will be fondly remembered.

He was 82 I believe. His wife Detta was a few years older than him and she died January 2019, both of them suffered from COPD, and she'd always done everything around the home, so he was completely at a loss as to how to take care of himself when she died, and coping with the heartbreak of her passing, and his own ill health, was all just too much.
Right up until just before Detta's death he'd been a big part of this forum and many of us knew him for many years..

I too am saddened by this news. Jim was devastated by the loss of his wife and was brave enough to reach out to us on this forum. I'm glad he did and I hope he found some comfort from our support.

I will never forget the PM Jim sent me after my oldest son died. He lost a step daughter from breast cancer so he knew the pain. May you rest in peace dear Jim.
