Site suddenly got instantly slow

I'm still getting hangs. I found in Firefox, refreshing the page (arrow circle in upper left) and trying again sometimes helps.

Still intermittently bad for me. Had to give up or limit reading and posting several times.

This is new, only started about a week ago. And is not happening on other websites I visit. Same problem on both of my computers.

@Matrix I know you are doing what you can, just wanted you to be aware.

Same for me... sometimes it seems nearly back to normal, but more often I sit and wait & wait for something to load and end up thinking "I'll try again later."

Unlike yesterday, today I'm noticing a slight slowing down when loading, even seeing the orange line you mentioned. It's not slowing down enough to be an annoyance, however.

Slow loading on some pages at times. A quick refresh usually helps. Not happening elsewhere online.

I have experienced similar issues on another forum about six months ago. The person running that forum announced that he was hoping to change his hosting company because of it. Don't know if he ever did. But my point is that these things happen from time to time and usually get sorted out eventually. Just hang in there is all I can suggest

Does not seem resolved, as of yet.

The site's running a bit faster for me today, but I had trouble downloading a photo and I gave up.

This could be because internet providers (at least in the US) are in the process of upgrading to 10G nationwide.

Maybe that's it .... I'm still having issues logging on, and getting around the site.

I don't think that's the problem, hon. I think the problem is that all cables in the US are being replaced with 10G cables that can carry more data, and carry it faster.

yes ..emojis didn't want to appear for a while and I still have that darned red racetrack across the top when stuff is trying to load.
Some pictures are not loading at all....tried two other browsers but same problems
