Bosses who are fed up with workers taking too long on the toilet may have a new weapon in their arsenal.
A new toilet designed by the British startup StandardToilet has a downward-sloping seat that's designed to make it unbearably painful to spend more than 5 minutes on the loo, WIRED first reported.
On its website, StandardToilet says the toilet is meant to improve efficiency at companies, promising that the uncomfortable seat will discourage employees from using social media while in the bathroom.

This has to be the slimiest move by any company ever and certainly the biggest insult.

Not meant to be rude here but the poor soul with constipation , irritable bowl syndrome or even diarrhea. Like normal, the honest, decent person gets punished for all the scumbags of the world who take advantage at every opportunity.
Yes it pathetic.
He can use the executive bath room...

That's what I was thinking. What if you're sick or just, you know?

Of course, management has the right to try to increase workers' output.
Maybe replacing the seat with spikes?
What is really wierd is that in some big, skyscraper office building, there is a Vice President , monitoring how many seconds "workers' ouput".

That's craziness. Just set a break limit. 15-20 minutes. I've worked jobs that specified a time-frame for breaks and lunch. If someone has GI problems and needs beyond that, require medical documentation.

Well Annie, & others.....some folks just feel the rules simply do not apply to them. Gotta admit, it is creative...... ;)

I remember when I worked, it was a problem with certain employees.
