That sounds amazing. What memories you must have of your adventures!I retired 24 yrs ago today. [@50] Spent the first 16-17 yrs traveling [by motorcycle] all over the country. But then arthritis & it's auxiliary problems set in. Now, don't do much at all, if at all. But I really cannot complain as I really enjoyed those early years. Arthritis & such it just part of aging , so I must accept what life has handed me. I just wish that the medical community / industry would work harder at a remedy .
I don't understand this post but would like to. Please explain.For those that reach senior SS age at 68 years old, 34 years was not the half way point. That was psychologically probably near age 15.
I can't believe I've been retired for 26 years! I remember planning it, with pencil to paper (didn't have a computer) like it was yesterday. Time certainly does fly.Dang, I just realized I've been retired since 2005, thats 18 years?? Wow how time flies!~!!
