This morning a guy in a white pickup zoomed into my driveway (I was outside) and I asked if I could help him.
He said he was here to see someone named Dennis. He had a slip of paper in his hand with something written on it, but I didn't see what. I asked him if it was recent information and he said he had just gotten the address. Maybe he was just a bill collector or something, but it was so weird.
Then he said he'd go and bang on the door. I said "no you won't, this is my house and I don't know anyone named Dennis". My neighbor was out in her front yard and I asked her if she knew anyone named Dennis (she had been watching and listening closely :love_heart: ) and she said no. The creepy guy said "no need to get aggressive about it", jumped in his pickup and tore down the street.
So...I called the sheriff's office and they entered a report about it into their system. If creepy guy returns, I can call 911.
Thankfully, I get all my mail at a PO Box, so that helps! Unnerving situation!
