Spring hasn't come my way, either, @Tommy. We're still snowy and cold, with more snow on the way."Spring" here is purely theoretical. The temp when I got up was -2F (-19C). We have 15" of snow on the ground and are expecting more this evening.

I was in the local Wegman’s the other day and was admiring the display of spring flowers which included a big container of pussy willows.
I remember when we were kids we collected pussy willows, forsythia branches, bunches of daffodils, etc… for our mother and grandmother…now we buy them in the store…kind of sad.

Normally, I'd have trouble accepting that spring is here in the beginning of March, but from Sunday to Wednesday we are supposed to have temps in the 70s. Yaaaay! I come alive again in spring. I love seeing the trees blooming. Trees on our street get pink (and some white) blooms before the leaves turn green.
