Hi
Here in the UK I always look out starting Tuesday through to Saturday morning on YouTube for Stephen Colbert's The Late Show excerpts from the previous nights show but this morning nothing there. Was he not on in the US on Monday night? Nothing was said last week that he was taking a break then I remembered that you had both a Presidential speech and the eclipse on Monday. Was his show cancelled for these reasons?:(

Do you watch it live? Isn't the U.K. about five hours ahead of the U.S.?

I can't stand him. He's a one man band continually knocking the President of the United States.

There isn't a fair statement in one hair of his head. Sample: Trump:America's First "Racist Grandpa" president.

My DVR is set to record his show and it did not record a show last night. I have mixed feelings about him - liked his former show far better than the current one. The beauty of recording it is that when he goes off on one of his tangents, I can just fast forward through it just as I do commercials. I'm old and my time is limited. There's not enough left to waste any on commercials or annoying TV programs.

I don't understand, what's the difference between American comedy and Canadian comedy.

I like me watching US television and news programs on YouTube but you seem to have many more advertisements than we do in the UK.
The BBC is advertisement free as we have to pay a licence fee, £147 pa, to watch any live TV here and that pays for the BBC TV and radio programs.
I have to admit though I haven't watched TV very much at the moment as during the summer months its rubbish but new good programs start in the Autumn

He is in reruns now as I was looking for him too. Love his take on politics as I agree with him on his funny views. I noticed all the late shows were reruns. Don't know when new season starts.

I can't believe I can answer this. I miss his show as well, but he's been on a 2-wk vacation. The lady I work for owns a vacation home on Sullivan's Island (adjacent to Charleston, SC, and only a few hours from Greenville, SC, his home before stardom.)

She has run into Stephen twice in the last 10 days, once at a Publix grocery, and coming out of a restaurant with an attractive middle-aged woman and grown kids... pretty sure his family. She saw him there last summer as well, so he probably owns a home on the $$island$$.

I'm addicted to his show, tape it every evening. He will be back on tonight, but the previews appear to be recent reruns. His shows have been live until the last week or so. I'm hoping he will be back after Labor Day weekend.
