Take a second and sniff yourself.

I think it might have to do with clothes in some degree. Old people have old clothes that might not get washed regularly, especially outerwear. I found that with a jacket I wear a lot and realized that it had never been washed although it didn't look dirty. Washing it freshened it up.

I agree. As a kid I found the odor of some old people and their houses very off-putting. My mom explained that some folks don't shower or do laundry as frequently as they should, so their bodies, clothes and houses smell bad.

Some health problems and medications make the odor even worse.

To some apparently so Holly but when you stop and ponder on it, without going into a lot of detail, it could be much, much worse. :ROFLMAO:
..and it has been said of many old people ..that they DO smell much much worse... sadly!!

I remember reading about a ''Japanese'' ?.. soap that is specifically made to counteract the 'odour' which older people give off.. apparently it's a real thing, where the hormones change it's counteracted by using Persimmon soap

When I come home to my apartment, I can smell cooked beef. I eat lots of beef, so it makes sense. The smell persists in spite of fans and open windows.

Oh well, nobody gets close enough to smell me any more.
I'm going to tell you that the smell of meat on a human is repulsive.. and if you're apartment smells of it, so will you. I'm not being insulting, but I was married to the Butcher's boy when I was young ( before he joined the navy).. and despite him showering every day.. twice a day in fact..he smelled of meat right through his pores..

My husband works in TV and film.. he's worked with literally thousands of celebrities, many very well known household names.. and names which are known on both sides of the pond.

I cannot name Her.. but there's an Internationally famous actress (British).. whom my husband has worked with on several occasions from the 80's through to the present day.. and altho' my husband rarely ever comments on someone's apaearance... he has said for years that this Actress smells of Beef.. or raw meat..
