I am happy for them. Trying to lead normal lives when one is constantly in the public eye is difficult, yet they seem to have accomplished that to bigger degree Then many famous people.

Both sets of parents did a great job raising those two and are very proud of them.

They are both self made filthy rich. Travis could quit football and Taylor could quit entertainment today, if they wanted to, but probably won’t.

For as young as she is, Taylor, Swift is quite the philanthropist. She has donated quite a few millions of dollars to various disasters, she will visit children in hospitals frequently wherever she happens to be on the globe. It is little wonder she has such a big following.

I am not a Swifty, but I do appreciate when I hear about her on the local news, which is often because her music journey started in Nashville, TN. She is no dumbbell, that’s for sure. If I remember correctly, her dad is an accountant and I am pretty sure he has managed her career, which is why she has so much money.
 
I have mixed feelings on her notoriety of all her charitable deeds because as much as she makes she has to have tax write-offs.
Since she gets so much coverage on all these good deeds, I have to think of former people that gave to charity secretly, humbly.
Such as Harry Chapin. He began the Feed the Children way back when and because he went to Washington to lobby for it was the only reason we knew of it. He did many others never publicized. What I am saying is she is not the 1st to do this but Swifties thinks she is. It is a tax write off with added good press added to it. She may be a good hearted person true but darn, do it with humility.
OK you can berate me now. :LOL:
 
I wish them all the best but I would prefer that they keep their private lives to themselves their families and close friends.

It all seems like the announcement of some sort of business deal or mega merger between corporations.

It falls into the same news category for me as the change to the Cracker Barrel logo. 😉🤭😂
 
I hate opening my news sites these days and seeing nothing but these 2, or Harry and Meghan along with Kardasians as the leading news stories of the day. Give me a break.

Of course, love is paramount in our lives, and we wish them well and all the happiness in the world. But, please, stop shoving these non news headlines as what is important.

There is plenty of room under entertainment or celebrity headers to tackle all this.

I don't know, Bea. I found the Cracker Barrel news more intriguing. I might actually go there, while I'll never go to a Swifty concert or whatever sporting event the man might be in.

I never have liked public proposals, it puts the woman in a forced situation where she has to say yes or humiliate the man.

They have both peaked in the careers and are setting themselves up for their second life/careers. High profile public figures will always be in demand for speeches, commentary, advice etc. Absolutely much of this was planned or staged including many of the photo ops.
