Sometimes we parrot what we hear from friends, neighbours, religious leaders and Governments to name a few, we must be careful that we don't allow our minds to be poisoned by hate. We must think and analyse for ourselves. I have learnt over the years from work experience and training, not to listen to what one is saying but instead what they are not saying. That being said, I accept your apology . I hope that we could be civil in our discussions and agree to disagree sometimes. This is what life is about. It was big of you to apologize.

Well, I'm not embarrassed , or ashamed...I have agreed with all you have said on this topic.

wrong, her attitude is one that apparently stems from a refusal to drink the PC Koolaid.

In 1941...some of the people in the wrong place @ the time [trusted] some of the Japanese ....as the invasion of Pearl Harbor was being staged. I wish [they] had been a little less trusting.

You are most welcome. I, too, live in a diverse society, it is our strength, although bigotry still exists. I am a psychologist, among my clients are Syrian refugees. I am in awe at their strength and resilience.
