Ted Cruz isn't really smart

R.I.P. With Us In Spirit Only
In this weeks TIME he is quoted as saying he "no longer listens to rock music". He goes on to use a John Lennon track as his campaign theme. Here is a guy that many say is so brilliant and he is staking his campaign on the Evangelists being his base. He picked "Imagine" as his theme. Now, I guess it never occurred to him that the first stanza of that song is:

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...

Undoubtedly someone will point this out to him, maybe he'll switch to "Onward Christian Soldiers" about the time he rolls out his foreign policy proposals.

Or "when the roll is called up yonder I'll be there".

The Republican Party has many strange inconsistencies. The fact that they call themselves conservative and Christian being the strangest. The last Republican line-up for President included a serial adulterer (Gingrich), a member of a cult that believes in polygamy (Romney) and a gal who had 23 kids on welfare before running for President (Bachmann).

"Turn the radio on"....... and listen to the music in the air.... (or rather the conservative talk show hosts)
