I actually dismissed a lot of questions as being rather ridiculous and simply clicked the centre circle.

I thought the test was pretty accurate for me. I clicked the center on several questions. They were there so you could choose. Some things I was neutral on, some I had a strong opinion on and some a not so strong opinion.

It wouldn't be very accurate if there were only two options, strongly agree or strongly disagree.

I'm far less socialist and tender than you, so you probably shouldn't be too upset. :p

These tests, while they ARE entertaining and contain a kernel of truth, are usually far too vague and open-ended to really capture the complicated organisms that we are. Back when I worked management jobs in the corporate world they would subject me to a battery of psychological tests, and although I passed them with flying colors I knew, deep in my heart, that they didn't really represent my true nature.

Mainly because, as a psych/philosophy major in college I KNEW the answers they were looking for - I had already taken all these tests and more many times over.

It got me right. 60 - zero - 30. ? ... and no, I have no faith in that 'tenderness' figure either.

As you mentioned Phil, if you know what they want you can tweak it but you have to concentrate. I used to practice on those IQ quizzes. They don't prove a thing if you know how they work.

There was a sh*tfight over a supervision job that I and a rival were after, so my boss stole a copy of the questions and slipped them to me to study. (No he wasn't getting rid of me, I would still be working with him. Tch, fancy thinking that.)

So I worked out what they wanted to hear and off I went and nailed that interview. But I didn't get the job. The rival, who was the long time casual squeeze of a senior manager got it. Then I had to train her to do the job she'd beaten me for because she knew Jacksh*t about it.
Go figure.

Guess blackmail trumps corruption when it comes to Government jobs.

It's a good test and I found it insightful. Obviously it would have it's flaws but it still is revealing. It looks like I'm the biggest softie here by the results with a 75% tenderness rating!:magnify:
