’sound’ of happiness thread.

What is the ‘sound’ of happiness to you?


For me at this time of year it would have to waking up listening to the first songs from the birds. I can’t imagine life without hearing the birds.

I am not particularly a cat lover, but I think a cat purring is definitely one of the sounds of happiness. (Hopefully, Keesha's birds are not part of this scenario?)

Wow, there are so many sounds for me that I can't choose just one. I love the sounds of my birdies "purring." They make these little baby birdy noises that are so sweet. I also like the loud calls they make and I love the sounds of the trains going through town early in the morning along with the sounds of the ships passing on the great lake I am right beside. Also, love the sounds of music!

The sound of Dad’s car…coming home

Coffee….perking on the campfire

Wind….murmuring thru the pines

The mocking caw of an incredulous crow

The magic of a master and their music

The extended laughter of your audience

The eerie wail of coyotes, serenading the moon, as only they can


The gentle sighs of mutual culmination
