Just watched this clip, was very emotional.

I love the man. Pure and simple. Love him. I consider myself privileged to be an American citizen during the time he is president and I firmly believe he will be remembered by historians as one of the greats.

He may not be the best singer in the world, but I can't think of much else that I would fault him on, and what a consummate gentleman he is. That he can have engendered so much hate on the part of so many people just blows my mind...I just can't understand it.

We are fortunate to have Obama in office during these times, especially after a particularly destructive and wasteful 8 years under the Bush regime.

I agree totally, one of the things that make him so special is that he holds his head up and keeps doing the right thing in the face of such animosity.

Don't get too carried away as you need to save some of that love for Hillary...

I think something is out of whack above with those two Juan Ting posts. If I had an alarm button I might push on it.

As far as I am concerned, Obama is a rather nice person and has worked at raising a nice family.

As a leader of the US he has made many mistakes and has weakened our military and our civil defenses, like border patrols. He has carried the US into massive debts and doesn't seem to be ready to stop. Who is going to pay all these debts off as our economy has not yet really recovered. Big surprises still remain to be fixed. Our medical system is still not all implemented and the costs have begun to go up. Obama will be gone before it all gets implemented.

Net is, that Obama is a nice guy but not one of the US's great leaders.
