The Bible

I fail to understand why anyone would find it offensive that another person believed in a God or Gods, providing they were not proselytizing, or behaving in a cruel or unethical fashion. Atheism is not 'better' than agnosticism, or religious faith, just different. Surely the content of a person's character, their treatment of others is the true definition of who they are. That concerns me far more than how many angels may dance on the head of a possibly mythical pin, in a book composed zillions of years ago, in another language.

The original post was about men being made from a redundant part of a woman, ergo, that we, males, are all useless tits.

It was just a bit of fun and I am sorry it seems to have offended you.

I wasn't offended Laurie. I got the joke and appreciated it, although I had heard it before. Nor was I offended by Susie taking me to task for my response. I was however totally confused by your response because I couldn't work out what you were on about, or even who you were addressing. Sometimes a smiley/emoticon is needed to let readers know what we are feeling and to clarify the purpose of the post. Perhaps we both should have made use of them.

Don't give it another thought :peace:
