Here are some pics of the flower fields in Carlsbad, CA, a coastal town about 30 miles north of San Diego. There are acres and acres of flowers which are a blaze of color this time of year. They raise mainly ranunculus, a cabbage-like flower related to roses, but also foxglove, tulips, roses and other flowers.
