As I recall, a reporter managed to hack into his cell phone call. It was a private discussion. I imagine many people say very unusual things in their private ***usal discussions. This definitely qualified as that.

I have no desire to watch the show. Truth or exaggeration still, we've heard enough from this family to last me a lifetime.

Yes. That discussion was portrayed in a recent episode of The Crown. I can't even imagine how humiliated Diana was when the media reported it.

Well I just added The Crown to my Netflix watch list. If The Crown is heavily fictionalized that's OK, it's hard to find "real life" dramas that aren't.

I've watched every episode of The Crown so far. The most recent season had more about Charles and Diana than I was really interested in, but still worth watching. I thought the first three seasons were just about the best TV I'd ever seen.
