The diet drug Ozempic...would you take it..?

Someone mentioned Botox for migraines. It is not used cosmetically on the face but the two women I know who have had it was given on the skull not the face. Both reported it as being very painful and not very helpful.
I mentioned it.
It's a bad idea/approach.

Good point. Several years ago I told my PCP that I wanted to lose weight. I was expecting help creating a plan, but he handed me a prescription for metformin. I never filled it because I prefer to avoid medications if possible.
Good you took the sensible approach.

Hopefully you found a new/different PCP..!

I so wish I had these weight loss drugs when I was young and single and cared how I looked. Always battling weight or thought I had to.

Going to saunas and those sweat rooms really helped as well as exercise at gyms but I would have loved the help of a pill. Sharon osbourn took it for too long.

I was on Pemvidutide for a year, during a clinical trial. I lost 50 pounds with no side effects except for a little allergic skin reaction at the injection site during the last two months. Trial results show no or little muscle loss. It's actually going to be marketed as a liver drug which just happens to cause weight loss (wink-wink nod-nod).

Unfortunately, over the next year, I gained most of it back. Rats.
