That was one of the best books I've ever read!

A friend of mine recommended I read it years ago. So I did. I got nothing out of it. To this day, I wonder why this got such high acclaim.

Something about rabbits getting chased from their homes due to modern expansion.

About as compelling as a story about the hedge growing.

To each his own. I saw it as a commentary on the human condition, as the rabbits are anthropomorphized, but that was a long time ago. Hazel-Rah sends his love.....

Who the hell is Hazel-Rah? Was that in the book? I read it before I was married. I might have been late teens.
