The tattoos/ink on my back

Tattoos are only for dope heads, gang members, sailors, convicts and cheap hookers.....I don't do drugs, never belonged to a gang, not real fond of boats and I've never been in prison.

OMG !!.....I guess that makes me a cheap hooker.
Well, I'm not nor have I ever been any of the above but the hooker thing? Well, if prices keep rising, I might have to think about it to supplement my income.

You'll see me out in the Walmart parking lot....psssst...you wanna see my tattoo? Hand over that package of hamburger!

I don’t mind small tattoos , especially ones that are symbolic to the person who has them, ie., something to symbolize a departed person or pet but what I don’t like is when tattoos are spread over a person’s back ( especially if it’s a woman) and she chooses to wear a strapless dress. All I can see is the humongous tattoo, not the beautiful dress. Sorry, I just don’t see beauty in that.

While I realize that you are only joking , I think it’s too easy to stereotype those who decided to get tattoos. I haven’t gotten any tattoos myself but do know people who have gotten nice tattoos. Not all tattooed people are dope heads. My sister in law has 3 very small , very decrete tattoos. One on the back shoulder ( I think it is a small butterfly ) and 2 on her feet ( just a nice pattern ) They are all very nice and she’s definitely not a dope head or a cheap hooker.

I have never had the slightest desire for a tattoo. Besides that, I've needed several skin cancers removed over the years and would not want to take any unnecessary chances with pollutants, inks, dyes, etc. - not now, and not even when I was 20 years younger.

Tattoos do form a risk for skin cancers - not because the ink itself does any damage . the tattoos do not mean yo u are more likely to get skin cancer but they do mean people do not always recognise early changes to their skin when it is heavily decorated and therefore do not get skin cancers and pre-cancers treated early

I have never liked tattoos. To me, Ihey look like a mutilation of the human body. I know an otherwise attractive young woman with one arm completely covered with tattoos! I think they spoil her appearance, and can't imagine what would attract anyone to do that to herself.

OTOH, my ears are pierced. (One pierce in each ear.) I suppose there are people who might consider that a form of mutilation also. So, to each his/her own, I guess.
