Me too! I checked out what he said on Consumer Lab, and verified that a lot of what Dr Berg said is accurate. CL mostly discussed avocado oils.an eye opener... by Dr Eric Berg....

There is a huge difference in the taste of real strawberries, and those sold in stores. I went to a gardening shop a couple of decades ago. The owner was a former accountant who decided to get off that ride. He and I hit it off and he gave me the last pint of strawberries he had. They were small and bursting with flavor. I sat there and ate them all. I was astonished at the flavor difference between those and the ones sold in grocery stores.I have not tasted a naturally flavored strawberry in years bought in a store either. I can't stomach these you buy today
A young nutritionist talked me into trying avocados when I had prediabetes....... Nothing, I got nothing. I ended up just eating better regular foods and exercising and reversed it.Me too! I checked out what he said on Consumer Lab, and verified that a lot of what Dr Berg said is accurate. CL mostly discussed avocado oils.

you are so correct. We have the Pick your own strawberry farms around here, and the taste of shop bought and the farm strawberries are like almost as if you're eating a different fruit...and some of the supermarket Strawberries are the size of your palm..There is a huge difference in the taste of real strawberries, and those sold in stores. excatly ...if people are not wiling to do their own research and believe nonsense spouted by uneducated people on a forum then that's their lookout.. but others like yourself .. are very willing to learn, and know what's good for our bodies..Me too! I don;t think his motives are questionable when it comes to avocados and avocado oils.. or many other things come to that, he could easily be sued for millions if he didn't have his facts absolutely right... but Babs..no-one is telling you to believe him, or telling you to change what you eat.... this thread is for people to make their own minds up...Dr. Eric Berg's motives are questionable. The only problem I have with avocados is having them perfectly ripe when I want them.
Thank you. I have always loved doing research, thanks to my curiosity about nearly everything.excatly ...if people are not wiling to do their own research and believe nonsense spouted by uneducated people on a forum then that's their lookout.. but others like yourself .. are very willing to learn, and know what's good for our bodies..

that's because of that gas they're sprayed with...lol
Is that ethylene gas? Because that's used on bananas, mangoes, tomatoes, avocados, honeydew, etc. When fruit has to be picked before it's ripe, the ethylene is used to help ripen them for transport.that's because of that gas they're sprayed with...lol
yes..and have you seen how quickly Bananas go off after you've bought them ?Is that ethylene gas? Because that's used on bananas, mangoes, tomatoes, avocados, honeydew, etc. When fruit has to be picked before it's ripe, the ethylene is used to help ripen them for transport.
