I'm the wrong person to ask tbh..I really dislike Typhoo.. PG tips.. Tetley and Yorkshire tea, because atho' I drink tea all day long, mine has to be very weak.. and the aforesaid are all builders tea...(strong)...we drink tea in the UK like Americans drink coffee... so with regard to flavoured fruit teas they are generally only drunk occasionallyWhat do you think of Typhoo tea?

A pediatrician once recommended flat coke for upset tummies.I can't remember what it came in, but Coke syrup was what my mom gave us when we had stomach flu and couldn't keep anything down. A spoonful or two of that was very soothing, for some reason.
Maybe you should drink it not so very weak, HD.I forget that Flavoured teas are much more popular in the USA than they are here.. I drink normal breakfast tea, very weak.. no acid...
oh goodness No.....strong tea is very bitter....
Yes, tannin acid, Holly.acid in tea ?![]()
And related: how can I drop something and instead of falling straight down--which is the way gravity works, after all--it lands about 3 feet away so not only do I have to bend over but I have to walk some ways to retrieve it! Terrible! How can I drop something and spend five minutes on my knees searching for it but never find it? Then an hour later walk back thru there and the lost item is right there large as an elephant painted day glo pink? Makes no sense.
..equally, how can you drop something in a room which has a bare floor, and no clutter and never find it again..ever ?And related: how can I drop something and instead of falling straight down--which is the way gravity works, after all--it lands about 3 feet away so not only do I have to bend over but I have to walk some ways to retrieve it! So true; I'm still looking for a pair of reading glasses, that last I remembered using them was while sitting on the loveseat in our living room about 2 months ago...I'm still looking for them...equally, how can you drop something in a room which has a bare floor, and no clutter and never find it again..ever ?![]()
exactly that.... One notable moment was when I was a girl I rarely got any presents.. but for one birthday my mother bought me a signet ring and so it was very dear to me . I wasn't permitted to wear jewellery at Girl guides, so I popped it into my tunic pocket..., when I got home I bent over and the ring fell out onto the livingroom floor.. both my mother and I searched for it, couldn't find it.. and when we moved house, and the room was empty we felt sure we would find it then... but no..it had completely disappeared , and yet there was no cracks it could have dropped intoSo true; I'm still looking for a pair of reading glasses, that last I remembered using them was while sitting on the loveseat in our living room about 2 months ago...I'm still looking for them.

well it has been said that my tea is really just barely coloured Hot water...So occasionally in my household that they have, in fact, never been drunk here.
Honestly, I'd like a stronger tea. Sounds to me, Holly, you'd be just as happy with water.![]()
In spite of packaging its easy. If its pink its cooked. Raw shrimp is grey.So I just bought some shrimp to make a shrimp salad tonight, but I'm a little confused. Which is it - cooked or not cooked?

So if it's cooked and safe to eat the way it is, I wonder why the FDA requires them to put "Cook thoroughly" on the package? In spite of packaging its easy. If its pink its cooked. Raw shrimp is grey.
didn't we have this same conversation last week ?Why is it the every murder victim on those true crime TV shows was the greatest human being that ever walked the earth? They were always the salt of the earth, universally loved and adored. Why is it that no SOB needed killing? Like, X was such a SOB that there was a lottery, and if you won, you got to strangle X. And people were standing in line to buy lottery tickets.
Is it the FDA or is because of lawyers? Is it because if it's improperly stored at too high of a temp bacteria can grow? Just my thoughts on something I don't know anything about. So if it's cooked and safe to eat the way it is, I wonder why the FDA requires them to put "Cook thoroughly" on the package?
Strange.
