Things you have done to your life easier?

You've been asking such wonderful questions char!

Easy answer. My son is the best "thing" I've ever done. He's been the greatest joy and love of my life. He's now a fine man, and has given me the best "thing" he's ever done, namely his son, my grandson. My son will see me through to the end of my life, and I am so glad I made the choice to have him!

I would say the best thing I ever done was having my daughter... but she doesn't come under the category of making my life easier... so I would say the best thing I ever did to make my life easier was to retire... :D

My struggles with school work , being put back twice{4th,9th grades},thinking I was a failure, graduated from both high school, college with degrees
My life became easier when I retired in 2011 after 27 yrs working part time as a pharmacy tech at a local hospital I'm a much happier person ,should of done it sooner

The thing that had the greatest impact on my life was to stop drinking alcohol when I was 22. Looking at the rest of my family and some friends I know alcohol would have destroyed my life. I credit about every positive thing in my life to that decision.

"What's the best thing you have done, to make your life easier?"

Watching and listening to my Dad growing up. He was a carpenter by trade, learned so much from him. Then, whenever I called repairmen, listened, watched and questioned.
Living alone for several years, and even while married, I was able to assess, repair and fix small things in and around my home. It has helped me not to stress when appliances , plumbing or electrical needs attention.

He also never told a lie. I took this to heart, and it has definitely made my life easier.

I dunno that I'd call my life hard, just long. Made lots of wrong choices. Turned left instead of right or right instead of left. Said no instead of yes or yes instead of no.

My dad used to tell us that if we didn't know which action to take, then take action, any action would be better than no action at all.

From where I sit now, it seems to me that I took more than my share of wrong actions because I've really done nothing much with my life and certainly nothing noteworthy.

Money makes my life easier. Lots of it. I am pleased I've been able to help so many people both in profound and in simple ways and I hope to continue doing this.

Believed my wife when she said I would retire early at age 55. We sat down to put a plan in place to make that happen. She was off by a year. The corporation where I worked was like so many in mid 1990's cutting back on management. I got an offer that was better than I could imagine, because of the planning retirement at age 54 was very doable.

my hubby retired aged 50 but I am so glad he did as he had his stroke aged 69

I used to say that quitting smoking (30 years ago) was the best thing I'd ever done. That seems like kind of a pathetic "best" though.

I think I've had a hard life. It still isn't easy, and might never be.
Well done for giving up
The smoke
I gave up 35 years ago and was it hard
Blxxxdy hard so well done to us xx

Another well done to you also for giving up booze
I’ve tried so many times
I’m not a big drinker
Maybe a few glasses of wine a week
But I do need it when I’m stressed or worried which is all the time recently
But I have no other vices 🫤😵‍💫

Best thing I ever did was to have my daughter, I was a real ‘wild child’ but having her soon stabilised me !

The thing that made my life easier was choosing to live alone, I love it, don’t have to answer to anybody, and no intention of ever doing so again 😃
