What was the last thing you squeezed 'to get more out of it?'Can't waste any!

I have a dry skin problem. And problems with cracks on my feet, too. That "Gold Bond foot ointment & hand lotion for Diabetics" is pricey. When I can't get any more out of the bottle, I cut it open & get the rest of it. I'm surprised at how much is left.

What is in the lotion that makes it specially for diabetics?

And, you win the prize for getting the most out of the tube (or in your case, plastic bottle) !!! :p

Their foot lotion feels thicker than their regular version. I don't know specifically what the ingredients are, but I did see a big difference from when I previously used their hand lotion for both hands & feet.
Diabetes can cause dry skin. Dry skin leads to cracks in hands & feet. Cracks in feet are not a big deal for non diabetics, but diabetics are more prone to infection & a foot infection in a diabetic can lead to gangrene & amputation. Cracks allow bacteria to get in, especially if walking barefoot. Also, feet that have calluses have less feeling in them & that reduced feeling is made worse by neuropathy - which also causes reduced sensation. That can cause diabetics not to be aware that something is embedded in their foot. Gold Bond foot lotion for diabetics absorbs into the soles in a few minutes & doesn't leave feet slippery & the softer soles are less likely to crack.
I only use the hand lotion at certain times of the year when I get cracks on my fingertips & knuckles. But I use the foot lotion after every shower, & no more cracks.
