Travel Warnings About The U.S. From Other Countries

Thank you so much, dseag2! I was getting all ready to wade through the whole program again (not that that would be so terrible, I'm a big fan of that show), but you did save me a whole lot of time. I did give Bill credit for that statement, which was an error. It was his guest, Douglas Murray.

Johnintoronto, give the show a try. You may enjoy it!
Glad to provide the link! I watch Bill Maher's show every week. It both depresses me and makes me laugh at the same time. :ROFLMAO:

My son and I both watch it every week. Sometimes I don't feel like staying up that late, and watch it "on demand" the next day. We always discuss the show afterward. We both like the New Rules at the end, which I think is always the best part of the show.

In this one, I don't know if I really believe those really stupid people were on the level. Their answers were so incredible that I had the feeling they were paid actors. Or are Americans really that dumb?

Our travel days are over but back in 1985 I did pay attention to the travel warnings. In particular I paid attention to health warnings about rabies and plague in US - neither of which are endemic in Australia. In other countries like France and Italy the warnings were about pickpockets. We were targeted by the latter in Paris. In Egypt the warnings were about drinking water. In Nairobi we did not go wandering about the town because we might be robbed.

Travel advisory information is very useful for naive turists.

No. They only show the few dummies after interviewing god-knows-how many people! Leno did the same.

If you want to watch the full show, have at it. If not, go to 41:08.

I have the utmost respect for Canadians, have friends there and have visited many times. Let's not make this an "us against them" conversation.

Is this the one dseag2?

I knew a NATE tower jock who would cross the Buffalo-Fort Erie Border Bridge and buy cough syrup with codeine in it. Needless to say the radio transmitter support crews always seemed to have colds.

lets see...poverty, huge fires, crime in general, rampant seemingly unstopable shootings, tornados,
flooding...lack of grains foods and costs of gas....
I mean...who wouldnt want to come visit a fully unstable highly populated congested crime infested country
like ours?....why come on down and spend money at walm who still wants more money.

what is ever enough for these ego maniacal money grubbing non-tax paying overloads who in reality
hate us and fear us all.
they just want our money. that is our purpose here....have a few dollars?? go give it to walm!!!

anyone notice most of those working in walm are old people....who should be home not working on their feet
all day for a rich corp money swallowing pit.

the only modern country who treats their old folks like this is....ours.
