I found my wife 38 years ago...we became insane lovers and staunch allies in the war against everyone else. It remains that way today. It's the only way to go.

Next month, we will celebrate 51 years of marriage. I doubt I could have ever loved someone as much as I love her. Life has tossed some big speed bumps at us along our road together. We have shed tears together. We have laughed a lot together. I still marvel at her beauty and her patience with this old man!!! Today, she turns 70... just as beautiful as she was when we met on a blind date over 50 years ago!!!

Happy birthday to your wonderful wife !

I married the love of my life. We met when I was 16 & he was 19. I knew the minute I saw him that he was "the one" . This was our 44th year together & we hope for many more !

Yes, I am guilty. Sounds like a song title. I have written abut 40 songs and a couple of poems. I do sing. I used to play guitar, but my hands went to hell.

I think I already answered this but I did get a request for more poems or songs. Here goes;

Liar's Lament

Been livin on the dark side much too long. There's no relief in sight.

The Truth in the lies are almost gone. Just left me standing in the light.

Fooled my own eyes in the mirror.

All this time in the name of fear.

Crazy way to spend the years

Tangled webs, tangled webs, tangled lives.

What was it in the life I chose? Silver flames turned to ice.

It wasn't me who was filled with hate. But it was me who paid the price.

My eyes in the glass reveal the signs. Like a scribe on the walls of time.

No more to do. Just scratch the lines.

Tangle webs, tangled webs, tangled lives.

Now when I look its not like me. Faded picture from the past.

There once a child who ran with glee. Lost his innocence too fast.

Why lament for the lost? Don't we all choose to be?

And we'll all pay the cost.

Tangled webs, tangled webs tangled lives.
