They gave their life to preserve the flag and we have to allow anyone that gets a whim or upset over paying their taxes to burn it. It’s almost like saying to those that gave their all to go jump in a river and don’t come up.

I know I shouldn't do this, but I have to make a couple points.

Whether the justices are right or not, they do interpret our laws. That's the way our government works.

The flag is a symbol, it's not the country. Our people died for their country and its freedoms, not the symbol.

A lot of them didn't give their lives, it was taken from them. My brother fought in Korea and watched his buddies die. He didn't want to be there. He was conscripted like most of them.

I only fly my flag on two days, Memorial Day and Veteran's Day.

In my opinion, you are being subjective. Maybe we should just have a National Flag Burning Day.
OTOH, we do have a holiday named Flag Day. The me meaning of which is:
Flag Day celebrates the ideals of liberty, justice & the sacrifices made to protect them.

The flag is not just a symbol, although many people refer to it as such, but it’s also part of our heritage. It stands for honor, pride and courage. This is what is taught in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Okay, I readily accept that our flag is the symbol of our country. I also accept the fact that this flag was carried into battles and was a symbol of what many died for.

That said, if someone is unhappy enough that they choose to unceremoniously burn our flag, then they should simply be escorted to a country where they would tolerate that country's flag and what it represents.

This may sound rather trite to some, but the old phrase "if you don't love our flag/country, just leave" still holds a lot of water to me.

Advertising must be able to write off all costs and profits. Some even go Horse.
There was a Time When Jimmy Dean couldn't keep his show going cause of no advertisers. He then sold Meats.

The video, in which Rowan Atkinson ("Mr. Bean") defends free speech, is from 2012 but now even more important than ever.

At 5:35 he says: "Underlying prejudices, injustices or resentments are not addressed by arresting people. They are addressed by the issues being aired, argued and dealt with, preferably outside the legal process. For me, the best way to increase society's resistance to insulting or offensive speech is to allow a lot more of it."

I live in Toronto. SOME of this video is accurate, but some of it is hype. The Liberal Trudeau Government has continued to flood our country with refugees and temporary workers. Bringing in two million people in 4 years has resulted in huge problems in housing, and a tremendous strain on our social services of all types. Immigration SHOULD benefit Canada, and Canadians.

What is happening now, is NOT good for our country. Canada should NOT be the landing pad for the world's population. In the past, Canadians were willing to accept new people, provided that the new commers were willing to work and integrate into our society. The current arrivals are not like that. They come with the attitude that they are going to be able to benefit from being here in Canada, but without contributing anything towards our economy, or our nation.

In many cases, they live in their own language ghetto, with little to no interaction with the rest of us, but they are very demanding when it comes to getting things they want. When I see a large factory in Toronto, where the entire employee group of more than 200 people is from ONE foreign country, that illustrates the problem Canada is now facing.

Labor Laws, equal employment opportunities, Off the boat, rent apartment, buy car, earn and count the money. speak a da language fluently.
Sure people just want a chance. Make it fair. Equals Require citizenship or back ya go. A young India lady goes back home for 5 weeks every couple of years to renew her employment. Cashier, manager at a Moto Mart. Is what they do! Know a Japanese Chef does it too. Follows their dreams ! ? Family wealth.
