An 'attack' on Russia's mercenary forces in Ukraine by Russia prompts the mercenary leader of the Wagner group to directly seek justice from a Russian military minister. Facts about the attack unclear including was it friendly fire or retaliation for personal comments. They are being accused of staging a coup.

Perhaps this is a trick to make Ukraine drop its guard? Or a ruse to give a reason to use a nuke? Wagner Group made me do it!

if I was Zelensky I would be very careful at this moment.

Everyone who chooses the path of evil destroys himself. Who sends columns of troops to destroy the lives of another country and cannot stop them from fleeing and betraying when life resists. Who terrorizes with missiles, and when they are shot down, humiliates himself to receive Shahed drones. Russia's weakness is obvious. Full-scale weakness. And the longer Russia keeps its troops and mercenaries on our land, the more chaos, pain, and problems it will have for itself later. It is also obvious. Ukraine is able to protect Europe from the spread of Russian evil and chaos.

We keep our resilience, unity and strength.
All our commanders, all our soldiers know what to do.

We'll never know for certain but I believe that behind closed doors Prigozhin has been offered $$$ and power (a pawn) if him and his group help in over throwing Putin and his regime......if it does come to pass we can always deal with prigozhin down the road.

Thanks for the input but no, not what I am thinking of. Maybe it will come to me. Big Joseph Campbell fan, I used to have it memorized. Ach! Senior moments!
 
I admit I'm a little fuzzy (no pun intended) about these Wagner people. Supposedly, it's a large private, well armed group of 25,000+??? Russia has used them before, with cries of wholesale atrocities. Considering their past, I don't believe they are the ideal saviors for Mother Russia. If this becomes a full-fledged rebellion, you have to wonder whose finger is on the Russian nukes.

This gives an overview of who Wagner and their leader Yevgeny Prigozhin are.

Not only are the not "ideal saviors for Mother Russia", they may be worse than Putin...

Wagner does almost all of his recruiting from the toughest prisons.
