Metric scales in countries that don't use metric for everyday life.

(This one is real. At a recent medical appointment, the nurse weighed me and gave me my weight in metric numbers. I had to google the math equivalents (1 lb. = 2.2 kilograms) and figure it out. I asked the nurse what it meant in non-metric pounds, and she couldn't figure it out in her head either. Jeez Louise! Those metric numbers are meaningless to the average American patient!
