Visiting this forum--how often?

I wonder how often the members visit this forum--and for how long?

Every day, a few days a week or less? How much time?

I tend to visit every day or two, but do not spend much time,
sometimes only two or three minutes. I find that forums
can eat up much time--if you are on a few. They are not
productive.
 

Not on nearly as much as I use to be. I found out that I wasn't getting enough things done when I was on here for too long. And, I don't make "replies" nearly as much as I use to. That, in itself, is safer for me. (LOL)
 
I'm on here, daily, a few times each day, for 5-10 minutes. The stats tell the tale of who may have a little problem with spending too much time posting, here: Look at the join date, figure out how many months have gone by, since, and divide that into total posts for a given member. Some are averaging about 300 posts a month! Whoa!
 
I never log out, and check the games frequently throughout the day, between doing other things like housework, laundry, going out to grocery shop or lunch out.

And a few average 600 - 700+ posts a month, no need to calculate...the forum does the math. Wow. Then they PM constantly about who said or did what and keep track of who hasn't posted in awhile. Then they bounce to another forum to maintain their most frequent poster status. :laugh:

I'm usually here every day but I only average about 5 posts a day. Boo hoo. :(

I think if anybody went to that much trouble to check on how much time other members spent posting, they’d be the one with the problem ...

Mine average out at about 300 a month, most of which are through playing the Word Games, if anybody’s interested !

That's easy to do if you play games like I do as well as others.. it takes only a few minutes to play the games but it racks up the post count fast!!

Thanks Holly, I thought that was the idea of these sites ! Some people are ill, lonely or elderly they may be carers and stuck at home for a lot of the time, it’s a big part of their day logging on to a site and playing the games, having a bit of banter or a discussion in the forums, with other members, who’s to say what’s the right amount of time to spend online ?

Me too Pinky... it doesn't stop me getting stuff done.... I even go away on holiday a couple of times a year for several weeks at a time, and not post, but because it's easy to get a lot of posts within a very short time, then it looks to the untrained eye like I'm never off the computer

Couldn't agree more with you Wren, we have a quite a few who are in that category on here , and use this site for the very reasons you stated, and I'd hate for them to feel they can't post as much as they'd like. Even I have had problems this last few months where it's difficult for me to get out and about in the fast lane for the last 6 months .. hopefully not for very much longer.. , but this forum and other sites have been a complete mind saver for me, without it, I would have gone stir crazy...
 
Pretty much every day, a few times during the day. I always start right after breakfast; my morning coffee comes along with me.
