Vote early and often!

As the old joke goes, and another one is the politician who said that people who have been dead for twenty years rose up to vote against him. Will you be voting today even though you are not dead?

I am getting ready to work the election a long day ahead....I already voted early (absentee) and by the end of the day I will be dead.. (tired)

someone said to me not long ago dead lock in Washington was good...if congress was free to act we all would be in trouble...

The local races are of the most interest here, especially the race for mayor of our capital city, Providence, where one candidate is a twice convicted felon who is 73, recovered from rectal cancer, and was the mayor before for many years. He will probably win because of his charisma...

Normally, I do not vote in a general election, but we have a few hot seats here in PA that I would like to cast a vote on, just so I can complain when my candidate doesn't win. We will have a new governor here in PA. Wolfe has out-spent the incumbent big time. However, I have felt for the past year that the incumbent, Tom Corbett doesn't want to be Governor for a second term. He has upset the teachers here in PA tremendously and when you take on big unions, you aren't going to walk away a winner. Not to mention, we have a lot of corruption in our state government, probably more than some states, but less than others, like Illinois.

2016 will be interesting and probably the dirtiest that this country has ever seen. I wish we had more "for real" choices. The other parties just don't have enough money and not many take them serious enough to look at their platform. Each candidate for President will spend in excess of one billion dollars next election. It has gotten totally out of hand.

All these people in power just spend their time fund raising for the next election.
that 'fund raising' is just modern day bribery. Result : grid lock, terminal decline of america.
its doomed.
Start learning chinese we are gonna need it.

My vote was verified received on October 22, we always mail in our ballots early.

I love the mail-in ballots, I hope mine counts, sometimes I feel it doesn't make a difference if I vote, but I always think "what if I didn't have that right";)

Shoot, now you tell me, I've been studying Spanish, not because I thought Spanish would inherit the Earth, but because I feel they may be a huge population (well, I think they are) in the US and I want to be able to communicate.

I voted by mail, voted "NO" on all the mindless state propsitions(Calif), and did not cast a vote for any candidate unless I have heard of them, and is at least the lesser of two evils.

And a darkness fell over the land.... it was the color of blood and money and had the stench of destruction... :crushed:
