With mail in voting, ballots are sent automatically to registered voters.

Not always, Jim Bob. In Maryland, you have to request a mail-in ballot, they are not automatically sent.

Linda, why are you so confident that your in-person vote will be counted? Fraud or mistakes can be just as rampant at the in-person polls as anywhere else. Somewhere along the line, we just have to trust that our vote will be counted, no matter how we send it in.
