That is exactly what should happen.BK could take back that franchise and investigate the others it owns.
Or dead.Soon all fast food joints will be automated.
I've always left a generous tip before leaving my room. It's not easy work, being a hotel/motel maid.I saw a sign on McDonald's here in Florida just yesterday that read "Help Wanted. Starting Pay $11.00 per hour." The majority of these types of jobs are not meant to support a person's lifestyle, but act as a supplement to other income. Most of these jobs are only part time and not 40 hours a week like most full time positions. I think high school kids make up a huge portion of the work force flipping hamburgers.
I always felt bad for the hotel maids working for $10 an hour or less. Motel maids expect to receive tips, but after talking to several of them over the years, they tell me that very few guests tip and if they do, it's only a dollar or two. I always made sure that I had a $5 bill to drop on the desk inside my room before departing for the airport. United promoted tipping our motel maids.
I remember one maid at a Holiday Inn Express telling me that she had to clean 10-12 rooms per day and was allowed 45 minutes per room. No benefits, either. Just her salary.I've always left a generous tip before leaving my room. It's not easy work, being a hotel/motel maid.
100%!I'm so amazed at my local BK. About a year ago, I had a whopper, large fries, coke for $6,50. My next BK trip cost about $8.00, which i thought was rather expensive. About 3 months ago, same meal cost $10.60. No way!!! Today same meal costs $12.27. That's just about doubling the price. And the staff is high school kids. I'm not anti-kid, but the kids are on autopilot. Each is doing his job, but if something happens to upset the process, there's no one there to take charge.. The kids are running the place. There doesn't seem to be any adult manager.
And even if the Queen Of England was in a Burger King shirt at the cash register, ain't no way I'm forking over $12.27 for a BK meal, do you agree?
