Weight watchers files for bankruptcy

Gradual weight loss is the best way. You're doing okay, that's what counts.
The first 4 weeks were yucky, with a lot of cramps and such. I'm doing better on that for the most part now. Spring means more activity as well. Maybe I can gain some butt muscle back to help avoid needing old-man suspenders to keep my pants up. :p

Weight loss drugs have been around as long as I can remember, but Weight Watchers was still a standby for many. I'm going to guess that these new drugs actually work. It's possible they are just an over hyped fad, I guess. I haven't heard anything about how effective they are, or if they have side effects.

Anybody?
Well, the experimental drug I was on (it was via a clinical trial for a liver drug that had a "weight loss factor") did wonders for my liver enzyme count AND I lost 50 pounds ( I just wasn't very hungry and smaller amounts of food satisfied me) but I finished the trial in December, I'm hungry all the time and the weight is creeping back up. The good news, though, is that my liver enzymes are still down.

My doctor said that they're finding that a "boost" of the drugs may be needed occasionally in order to maintain weight loss.
