What ‘old person’ things do you do?

Years ago I would have been more concerned about the look of my sitting room.

As I've gotten older I have gradually created a cluttered command center around my chair so I rarely have to get up and move around.

I try to think of small ways to conceal the clutter by using nice wooden boxes and small stands but the clutter always seems to regain control of the area around my chair.
I do the same thing! I remember my mother having a microwave stand next to her bed (in the living room because she could not go from room to room) full of stuff. Now I understand.....

Hand write letters. Now that snail mail is all but redundant, the letter, if you still write letters, has come into it's own. Twice in recent months I have had cause to complain. By writing a letter and enclosing a stamped addressed envelope back to myself, it has had the right result. One lady from a utility company actually said that it was the first ever hand written letter that she had opened. It was a complaint yet she was delighted, funny old world. You see emails just sit in the in box waiting to be dealt with but a hand written envelope has become something of a novelty, so although it goes by the sobriquet: "snail mail," if it's a complaint, a letter jumps the email queue.

I use these along with my glasses to read:

Of course, I have a stigmatism in one eye, so that's part of why I need them.

Another thing I do is make a post and then forget to hit "Post reply." DOH!

@Irwin. What are these called and where did you buy them?

That's what I did, but i needed more storage, Sooooo-cardboard boxes, then another cardboard box, then three...

When watching nostalgic movies I cannot help but fall in love with those incredibly beautiful actresses we had in the past:

Linda Darnell ~

Barbara Slater ~

Lorna Gray ~

And there were so many more. Today's actresses are not anywhere as beautiful, elegant, or charming as these beauties of the past. Ah ~ they just make me swoon!
