I don't know if this topic has been discussed here before,so I want to discuss what annoys you.It can be people, things
Here's my list of what annoys me:
1.try opening a new CD,the wrapping takes me forever.Yesterday I used the scissors, in the process jabbed my thumb, some of the wrapping stuck to my finger after I opened it
2.when I go on my daily walks and a person is coming the other way looking straight at me. I always smile& say'Hi,good morning, good afternoon',they say nothing,no smile. I say to myself' is it something I said'?
3.people talking during a movie.I have in the past asked them nicely to be quiet, their response in so many words, swearing at me
4.try opening the cap on a pain reliever bottle. Its difficult for me since one of my hands has arthritis
5.The #1 thing that annoys me are distracted drivers. Tues morning as I was walking to one of my volunteer jobs,I came very close to being killed by a distracted driver. I started to cross the street, light was red, next thing I see is a guy turning left in a Chevy truck coming right at me,he slammed on the breaks. I was standing inches from his front grille. I was so upset shaking, started screaming&swearing at him.I thought I was going to die. What does the moron do,smiled, shrugged his shoulders, took off. I didn't have opportunity to take down the license plate. I take my life into my hands every day when I'm out walking, crossing the street.I shouldn't have to feel this way, but I do.
So what annoys you ? Sue

People talking on their phone ( non hands free) while driving and totally distracted

People blocking the aisle in the supermarket with their trolleys while having a chat with their friends, and acting like you're in the wrong when you say excuse me.. and moving 2 inches..

I don't buy CD's any more but I know what you mean..I have the same trouble with pre-packed meats..bacon and ham etc..there's supposed to be a little lip on the corner but it's glues down so hard I can't pull it so I have to slice open the packet with scissors.

Ditto the pill bottle lids, arthritis also here in one hand , so very difficult for me to open child proof caps..

Ditto those childproof Bleach bottle and others where you have to press on the side of the cap and turn at the same time..can't do it..

When I park in a big empty car park or space and come back to find the only other car in the car park has parked right next to me and I can't open my drivers door... ***why do people do that* ?

There will be more..I'll come back when I think of them

In our community, the thing that bugs me is people who won’t clean up after their freaking dog poops in people’s yards. Common courtesy people.....

And why do folks, getting ready to leave after visiting their friends, have to lay on there car horns. Bye, beep,beep...

You do 99 good things for a person, and 1 minor bad thing and they forget the 99 and focus on the 1 and they use it as an excuse to end the friendship. Their loss IMO

Right at the top of my list is......people that aren't punctual.

ooooh how did I forget that one?..that should have been top of my list. I'm a freak for punctuality unless there's a very good excuse. I don't keep people waiting for me, so when people are late for an appointment with me it tells me they think their time is more important than mine!!

I'm with you 911....I hate people who lie to me..I say just tell me the truth regardless of what it is...I may be mad at you but I'll accept it..but if you lie after I\ve asked you for the truth and I find out you've lied...then that's when the fight is on..I just don't forgive..!!

Days when you feel invisible, as in walking down a sidewalk or in a shopping center and if you didn't move aside they'd crash right into you.

Also, being almost mowed down by left turn drivers and also not being able to cross the street because of right turn drivers.

Only one that really gets my hair on fire even thinking about it, and I've mentioned it before (sorry)...

Drivers entering a ramp to a limited access highway, who think they have the right-of-way.

These drivers seem to think that everyone should change lanes, move over and let them in, even when all lanes are full. Even if you are the last car in a line of cars, and all they'd have to do is ease in behind you. I don't think they even look to see what's coming. They just put on their signals and keep going.

I'm willing to slow up a little and let someone in if there's a long string of cars behind me, or move over for big trucks if I can, but I don't think everyone changing lanes back and forth at every entrance ramp, driving 65 mph, is safe.

The young drivers here and their iPhone use. Sitting at a stop light in front of me, checking their e-mail, talking to someone or texting and the light turns green. They don't even notice that it changed and keep on using the cell phone. Have to toot the horn, and nowadays, depending on who is in front of you, the person can get upset. The word "dangerous" comes into view then. Drivers that drive right straight thru stop signs. No stopping at all.

Thing is, the area we live in is made up of many, many young folks and, due to the lowest crime rate in the area, police presents is very low.

Getting a CSR on the phone who has a heavy southern accent or India accent and I have to keep saying "what did you say?".

Like, Holly, I'll have to think of some others, but definitely know there are more.

People that lie to me.

THIS ^^^^^^^^^^ is my #1. I even have it listed as such on my list of things I won`t tolerate from foster kids. Not that it works, they are teens after all. And what`s that saying about teens? "If their lips are moving, they are lying." It`s not really THAT bad but man, seems like when these kids lie, they come up with some doozies.

I do have a new annoyance and it`s making me crazy. I have two new foster girls, sisters 14 & 17. Very nice girls (I think) but they do not talk to me. I have seen them at my daughter`s house, around other teens,I have heard them interacting with my other teen foster girl and they laugh and squeal and chat up a storm. But I drive them to school every day-a 20 minute drive-and pick them up after and never a word. I try to make conversation and even if I ask a question in a conversational way, they totally ignore me. It`s so weird-never had this happen before.

High on my list is when you are promised that an item will be repaired within 5-10 business days, and a month later, you are still waiting. I am still without a functioning oven; thank goodness for the microwave and my little toaster oven, or I'd be eating only cold food. And I can't get an answer as to when they will get the part.

Another annoyance similar to the super-wrapped CD's, is getting any other kind of packaged goods, such as small batteries, which come in a hard plastic shell which is next to impossible to open without doing self-injury.

Top of my list would be people who don't carry through what they say they are going to do.

One memorable example was when we were expecting people to dinner around 6pm they did not arrive and I rang her mobile about 1/4 past,
table all set, roast lamb ready, and totally forgotten, they had chooffed off to QLD.

People that talk over people. Chris Mathews on MSNBC is the king of this but now I see it everywhere on every talk show, even the late night shows. Also people that are so convinced that their thoughts, ideas and convictions are not only right but you are so stupid for believing different.

What annoys me? Making arrangements to get an estimate for a job from a contractor and they don't show up. I don't know if it's just me but this happened 3x last year when I was trying to get a simple estimate on having a tree cut down.

Bet you had plenty of that on vehicle stops. Oh no sir, I don’t do drugs.

I set up radar on the Turnpike. The speed limit in the posted area is 70mph. I stop a car doing 94 mph.
Me: “Do you know why I stopped you?”
Driver: “No, not really.”
Me: “I need your license, registration and proof of insurance.”
Driver: “Here you go Trooper. I lost my insurance card.”
Me: “OK, just hang on a few minutes.”
Me: “Please sign here.”
Fine plus costs = $354.00. Driving without insurance: Another $300.00 Total: $654.00.
We have access to the insurance bank that lists who has insurance. He didn’t.
I could have made him park the car and then towed it, but he was only 6 miles from home, so I followed him to his driveway.
