What are some "old people" things that you do?

I remember when I was younger than I am today, that I observed older persons doing things that I never thought I'd fall victim to. But of course, if I hadn't succumbed to at least a few of them, I'd not be thinking to share this now. Here is a list of 40 Common Older People Habits That Young People Don't Understand Can you recognize any of them that you practice or, better still, can you share any others?

Let me just say..I felt much younger before reading that list!😜

I do very few on that list tbh. Can't count drinking tea, because we do that in this country from when we're young.. yes I have a landline, but I also have an Iphone, yes I take photos of other things other than myself, because that's always been my hobby, and also I'm not obsessed with myself, yes I vote, doesn't every adult over 18 ? ... and yes I do the crossword but I've also done that since I was young.. so really none of these on the list apply much to me.
However I've always been intrigued as to why old people start eating hard sweets ( candy)..I always said that once I start doing that I'll be officially old..

I do a few:

Leaving voicemails
Taking photos of people and things besides themselves
Wearing house slippers
Getting up early when they don't have to
Taking naps
Reminiscing about the glory days
Not feeling guilty about staying home on a Saturday night
Voting
Hosting dinner parties
Watching movies from another century
Not considering themselves "old"

That's 11 of 40. Some things I do more than others. Not sure I would call all of these "old people" things. Maybe that's another one, LOL

lol... number 40...

I do a couple of the things on the list.

I would never write or check or count out the exact change in the checkout line because I have a very real fear of becoming the old fool that holds up the line!

Also, I will never become the old person that blocks the entrance of a store while they take the time to wipe down the cart, put away sunglasses and keys, find the shopping list, etc...

Leaving voicemails is an old people thing? When I still ran a company, we liked to say when we got missed calls that "if it was important, they would have left a voicemail".
I hate voicemails. I also hate spam callers.
When spam callers leave voicemails it's usually because they're looking for somebody else.
Recently, though, I received a really weird one- some nut actually left 'heavy breathing' voicemail!!
I wish I could've traced the number. What a jerk.

After having lots of fun with my 50 caliber handgun at a range visit a couple of years ago, I had trouble gripping the steering wheel while driving home. I remember thinking, "How long would a wrist fracture take to heal at my age?"
I sold it & I stick with calibers that start with the number "4."

I do get heavy breathing voicemail once in a while but no voicemail from scammers. I think most scammers like to get you then and there instead of hoping for a call back.
