Honestly between living alone and watching WAY too much Investigation Discovery the thing that scares me the most is becoming a victim of a violent crime. Fortunately I have 2 dogs so at least I'd get an alert first

Elevators are a fear for me and I think that's rational. Things can go wrong. Buttons or doors get stuck and alarms don't work. I read of a senior high rise that had 3 elevators - one in the middle and one on each end. For some reason, the one on one end was rarely used and a woman got stuck in it for 2 days before anyone found her dehydrated and ill.I'm afraid of what just happened last night & again this morning:
My elevator button for my floor, 4th, is broken. No signs of warning on the elevator doors. Had to go to 5th, laden with packages, walk down.
