Or have thought - I do not need that yet?
I do not have a will. Eventually I will write one so the State does not get my money.
I will most likely leave my estate to The Smith Family Charity. They help poor families and children get a better start to life.
I do not have life insurance, when one is single, with no family, why would it be necessary?
I do not have home and contents insurance. If I was to lose everything in a fire? Start again.
I live frugally and do not have the mindset - "Keeping up with the Joneses"

Husband and I had a Will and we had it sewn up tighter than Nun’s underwear. I still have a Will that is sewn up tighter than nun’s underwear so I don’t worry about it.

I also don’t worry about when Armageddon is coming. I know it’s on its way. The signs are there. Like earthquakes, it’s just a matter of when.

Privacy and peace of mind. I'm always by myself and don't like to be bothered or getting involved with anyones drama. So I don't let anyone get close and keep everyone at arms length.
You and I sound very similar in that respect.
Always being alone allows me to do whatever comes into my mind without having to ask.
Wake up and want to go hiking? Off I go.

I don't obsess over it, but sometimes I do think about what I'd do if I became incapacitated, had to leave my home and had to have someone else take care of me. But then again, none of us knows the future. I could fall dead from a heart attack or stroke and that would be that. I was a worrier for most of my life. I think since I've seen how my life turned out I no longer worry.

Finalise a will ASAP. The rest is optional.
