Pulled together assemble-your-own Vietnamese spring rolls for yesterday's lunch with G-niece, 3 GKs, DD, DH & me. They're always a big hit.
I should explain I’m not a total nitwit. I had unplugged it when I was trying to get the griddles in, which took forever. The lights go red and green and even when plugged in properly are really hard to see. Then it wouldn’t heat up until I remembered to plug it in
Didn't think you were. I've done the same thing with small appliances - can't figure out what I'm doing wrong with clicking all the top pieces into place on the food processor, because it won't run if you don't get everything right. After redoing it a couple of times I think: Duh... you gotta plug it in for it to work.I should explain I’m not a total nitwit. I’m thinking I should use it more often. Haven’t decided if this is a useful kitchen appliance or not. It can be stored in the basement or garage right now. It would be one of the first things to go if we had to downsize. We don’t have a bbq so this was supposed to be the substitute and George Foreman griddles were the rage when I bought it. This is the Cuisinart version, plus waffle maker.
