What are you doing today 2023

Yesterday I did the rough copy of my taxes. That didn't take too long, although the form is full of booby traps! I had lots of scratch-outs, but now it's correct. So today I can fill in the good copy.

Maybe I'll go the post office and mail it too. There's a holiday next week, so that will mess everything up.

I guess I'd better change the sheets and vacuum the bedroom. I was supposed to do it last weekend, but wasn't feeling up to it.

Exercising is something I can aspire to today, but I don't know.

Talk to language partner tonight, and done.

Laughing and crying at the same time. Many years ago my husband drew a sketch of a fireplace for my brother-in-law who wanted to build one in his new house. He thought the sketch was wonderful and built it brick by brick. When we all went to see it this picture was taken. My hubby's brothers and sisters are all in it. The 4 people on the right side are my brother-in-law and sister-in-law and then me and my Hubby the only ones alive now.

why didn't you ask ?
If they’re anything like my ophthalmologists, they’re absolutely abrupt and don’t tell you anything. Just dismissive replies and they’re out of the office. This isn’t unusual; I read it all the time on retinal chat groups. The last time I saw mine, he shocked me with his reply and I didn’t have time to think of questions until later.

@debodun Is this true for you too.

How interesting. I had to go to an ophthalmologist once. Your description kind of fits. I guess they're very "focused."

Funny thing though: Once I had car trouble near his office, and this lovely Middle Eastern lady (an employee) came out of his office and said to let them know if there was anything they could do to help.

Nothing like ours... they'll answer any questions if you ask...

It's 8.25am... horribly wet outside, and I'm getting ready to leave shortly for a 2 hour drive to meet up with my daughter for belated Mothers' day lunch. Gotta be honest not looking forward to this drive all the way up the motorway in the rain
You will be happy once you get there, just take your time and be careful. Have a good time, eat something you normally don't eat at home. I always try to pick things I have a hard time fixing at home.

Talk to her about the problem text you got from your ex. I know she can't solve it but she can listen and let you get things off your mind. It will be an excellent visit, I know I always feel lighter after I spend time with my son.

I had to shut my computer down right in the middle of checking out the forum due to thunder and lightning. Scares me but not as much as it did at my house. I was terrified during the storms there. Seems like they were extra loud echoing through out the forest. Trees would fall. I had nowhere to hide. By myself since my husband knowing how frightened I was would just stay upstairs in his bed. Here I just unplug everything and go through my paper pile and wait for it to get over. Sometimes I even sleep through it.

If anyone interested I binge watched Yellowstone, 1883 and 1923.
Yeah, they are all great, did the binge thing a few months back, eagerly waiting for the new seasons to come out...Did I heare right, that this is the last season for Yellowstone... Very disappointed...
I just did this. Now a shower and the rest of my day is free! I have a bottle of wine in the fridge for tonight.
Looks like fun, maybe I should do that my off days for the gym...So maybe Tuesdays and Thursdays... Thank you for Sharing @Marian
Walk the dog between rain drops.
That is one of the things I miss about Carl, taking him for a walk... Hope YOU and the Pup had a GREAT walk...
Right now listening to tv weather special as we have severe
weather warnings, high winds, rain, poss tornadic stuff...warm
at 77 deg too !!!!
@hawkdon, Hope YOU kept safe, and it's gonna get nicer for YOU...

Well, got Lorie at the airport yesterday, it was wonderful to see her. She has a beautiful tan... She looks beautiful as always... So I got the whole house straightened up...Laundry all caught up... Only forgot to turn the dishwasher on when I left... We had NO snow on the ground when I left, But on our return, we received a little bit of snow, but believe it's gone now... Suppose to get a warm day of a high of 16C, but tomorrow the high is 1C... Go figure...

So, my bride is home now, and everything here is fantastic... Sure did miss her...

Here's a question maybe some of you can help me with. Been using the Keurig coffee machine for the last few years. I normally have 2 - 3 cups a morning, but that can get expensive using the Keurig... So I bought a coffee machine, but now forget how much coffee YOU put in it for a 12 cupper, but really is a 6 cupper when using mugs...So I am wondering how many tablespoons do YOU put in the coffee machine. I looked it up and it said 15 tablespoons. I love strong coffee, but the spoon could just about stand up in it... Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance...
Cheers~

I put 4 Tbsp. of coffee in with 4 cups of water for a total of 2 cups of coffee in a mug. I find it varies with different brands of coffee. The directions that comes with these things can be misleading. They are still based on the old 6 oz. coffee cups.

@katlupe, Thank you very much, going to try that tomorrow...Today's coffee is good, but the spoon almost stands up in it...
