Yesterday we took Li'l Bit to the county fair exhibit building to meet with our trainer. It was nice to work inside in such a large open space. She says that Bit is one of the smartest dogs she has worked with. Me, not so much. Anyway the dog is making great progress. I've been working in the shop, and getting a lot done on the milling machine project, and got the bedroom fireplace working like it should. Starting to get excited about our upcoming six week hiatus to Arizona.
Proud of Li'l Bit! 🏆

I'm in terrible physical pain. I can barely walk outside, the concrete shocks my legs into waves of agony. I have two doctor appointments next week, Monday and Tuesday to try to deal with this. I may not make Tuesday's as Monday's doc might rush me to the hospital, as I'm sure my leg stents have become ineffective. Monday is the cardio guy. Tuesday I'm supposed to get cortisone shot for lower back from my pain guy. I have so many of these guys in my life.

I honestly don't know if this is the reason for my mental outlook, which is not good; however it sure does not help.
So sorry Pepper. Please let us know what the doc says. 🌹

Just catching up on what everyone's been up to over the past few days. Lots going on everywhere, it seems.

Nothing new here, have the baby again today, then not again until Tuesday. Went to Costco yesterday and dropped $200 on not a whole lot of anything. Crazy what things cost, isn't it? Did get a nice pair of black canvas washable(!) slip-ons that are a nice cross between sneakers and espadrilles. $17.99. Very comfy. They also had them in khaki.

My black sneakers have seen better days and I was in the markets for new ones, so I was happy to score these at such a great price. I was wearing black pants when shopping so I could see how they looked with them.

Oh, my. So many of us having health problems. Golden years, my arse! Y'all feed better, okay?

I got cheered up at daylight when I noticed daffodils blooming...only two so far but many are budding. This is in the back yard. In DD's part (in front of the house), they've been blooming for a few days, but I hardly ever see those since it's dark o'thirty when I go to work, and I'm too tired to notice when I get home at noon.

It's really not spring yet...another six weeks or so before our weather warms up...but it's nice to see the early signs.

Couldn't find the scones recipe I used last time, darn it. I did find one that looked about right but wanted heavy cream. Oops. No heavy cream so mixed milk with sour cream until it was the same consistency and used that instead. They're done. If they taste as good as they look and smell...😋

Finished DD's laundry (today's the day she works from the office) and started my own. If my energy lasts long enough, some vacuuming will get done.

I thought I'd bought a humidifier filter recently, but I can't find it. I'm pretty organized, and there are only a couple of places where it could be. Oh well, I guess I already used it. I'm soaking this one for reuse, and will buy a new one (or two) on Saturday.

Sent a message to my language partner, who has an interview this morning for a visa to visit the US. Everybody wants to visit Canada or the US, the lands of dreams. 🙄

Uh ... today I'll continue to experiment with new exercises, so I can improve my routine.

Maybe I'll tear apart the living room and do the once-a-month deep cleaning. If not, there is plenty to do in my little world. Dishes and stuff.

Best wishes to @Pepper , and everyone who isn't feeling well today.

These are perfect for me!
I don't have a Costco membership tho'. It doesn't pay for just me. Son is not interested.

Wear them in good health.

Oh wow... this doesn't sound good ! Leg stents ?.. I learn something new every day! :(...no wonder you feel so depressed and edgy.. jeez!! I really hope you get this sorted Asap... 🤗

how much does a costco membership cost there ?... mine is £20 something...
$60/Year
Plus applicable sales tax.

I don't want "club sizes". One bottle of ketchup for instance, will last me a year, but at Costco they come 2 to a pack.

I don't need much of anything, either. Don't wear jewelry, etc.

Altho' Star's shoes seem so comfortable and for the price, I would buy them.

Ours is only £26.40.. for Trade, or £33 for Individual... I honestly love Costco, because even tho' I'm on my own, I buy fresh food in bulk and freeze, and it lasts me for months.. Things like Ketchup I buy in the regular supermarket...

@StarSong 's shoes, are what I wear at home.. same style, slip-ons but Sketchers ( altho' recently I;ve been wearing slipper boots)... but the trainers are so much safer than wearing nornal slippers.. especially when going up and downstairs..

Our membership in Canada is $60, same as the US. Even though we don’t go often, it pays for itself. The price of gas alone makes it worth it.
yes that's the other thing.. I always do my shopping at Costco when I go for petrol... otherwise I don't go unless I need something specific. The fuel is at least 10p a Litre cheaper than anywhere else

Okay then. I fixed my withholding so that an extra $20/week is deducted. That'll cover me when it's time to file next year even if Kroger doesn't get its sh!t together. I'm still stewing about it, but there's nothing to be done for it but to pay...not an instant before April 15, though.

I'll look into the state income tax when I calm down some!

I consoled myself today by admiring the daffodils, watching birds at the feeder and eating not just one scone, but two.

That's precisely what I would have done in yur position. It would stick in the Craw, but at least you are safe in the knowledge they're not coming after you..
