That's how I've always known it, too.BTW: Those shoes? AFAIK, the ones without heels have always been called ballet flats or just flats; the ones with heels are called pumps.

Thanks Star,, somehow I missed that chunk of posts. Your menu sound great to me.I posted the likely menu on #1986 of this thread, though I forgot to include cold shrimp and cocktail sauce. Am also thinking of Hawaiian Chicken on small skewers. Since I don't eat meat, I don't always think of it when party planning.
@Jules reminded me of the very attractive and delicious 70s dip presentation in a loaf of sourdough. Will definitely do that with either the spinach dip or the hot crab dip.
Oh, I will definitely stay home until they heal. I don't want to scare people.15 spots at one office visit? Wow.
@Pecos
You're a trooper, and at least, it's behind you!
I am glad you did it, but yes, stay at home for a while, while they heal!
Don't go to any public places!![]()
LOL... no it doesn't have feet,@hollydolly people packed themselves indoors on such nice day? What? Go figure!
Can't wait to see a picture of you in your new onesie. Does it have feet?
DD took me to the garden centers where there was next to nothing out yet except pansies, flowering kale and flowering cabbage. The only people who buy them are people who are new to the area and don't know that they'll only be around for about six more weeks.
I got some bulb food, ixia bulbs and another kind of bulbs that look like a cross between ixia and daffodils. I forgot what they're called. They should have been planted in December, but they're in the ground now.
Also planted bulbs from some forced daffodils and tulips in indoor pots that are already spent.
Ahhhh. It's such a pretty day. Sunshine. 60F.
you would like it a lot....I wanna go out and play in M&S!
an hour in London?... did you actually get out of Baggage reclaim?@hollydolly I was there when in London but only for an hour or so, not nearly long enough.
Fabulous news.. no new premises, no new colleagues... job you can do standing on your head.. and just enough to keep you interested, and leaving plenty time for your life... excellentBeen to see former boss at previous hospice office. Offered a PRN (as needed) position, will probably average out to 5-6 days a month. Don’t even have to go thru orientation again— yayayay!! Leaving time for travel, grandkids, etc but still keeping in the ‘medical loop’
Sounds like a great opportunity!Been to see former boss at previous hospice office. Offered a PRN (as needed) position, will probably average out to 5-6 days a month. were you there today ?Sometimes these pictures make me nostalgic for my old home in Hampshire. However, from street view, I can see that it's becoming built up, crowded and expensive.
