What are you doing today 2023

Trying hard to stay awake but my eyes are glazing over. It's not a "school night" since I don't have to work tomorrow so staying up "late" wouldn't be a problem. That is, it wouldn't be if my eyes would stay open.🥱🥱🥱

well I had lots planned because the forecast said it was going to be a beautiful day... and so far it is not.. it's overcast and windy ...so I'm staying home, and maybe do them all tomorrow

In the meantime I've been vacc'ing everywhere, and cleaning the bathrooms.. such joy..lol...

Just sat back down with a cuppa tea..it's 12.15pm
 

The site is working normal for me today (so far!) so I can be here today. Yesterday I gave up on it. Whatever was wrong I guess Matrix fixed it.

Today I am doing some cleaning, still working on my new budget sheet for May & June and then going through a pile of papers. Nothing exciting.
 
The birdies woke me up at 4:45 but was able to tunr over go back to sleep, woke up around 6
I went on my early walk to buy NYT, cold/on /off rain/snow showers temp was 36
My only plan this morning is to go to the bank, rest of the day read NYT,my book
Tonight watch one of my favorite TV shows,at 9pm CBS'FBI:International'
A couple weeks all the FBI shows were in a crossover episode starting with International. I found it to be slow&confusing, didn't watch the other 2 shows
 
Yesterday…..tidied up downstairs, now that the last of the storage bins and containers are gone.
Listened to all the winter storm watches, warning's forecasted for this part of our province for tomorrow and Thursday.
Yes……winter storm watch for April 19 and 20. WINTER STORM WATCH 😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤.

Going to pick up some refills on meds this morning……in case we are sNOwed in from the STORM. 😤😤😤😤😤.
Have some closet shelves to go through and clean……might wait till tomorrow when l’m snowed in. 😤😤😤😤😤.
Do a couple loads of laundry.

That it in this nutshell. 😉.
 
Some things I have been doing lately…..
Have been doing price checking online, at grocery markets, where I’m moving to.
Most of all of the staples that I buy on a regular basis, are considerly cheaper, that will be a bonus.
Checked out the delivery services….also available, right to my apartment door.

I have been a long time shopper at Fabricland, haven’t been there since before Covid, they are still open for business…..HAPPY….HAPPY.

Security in my apartment goes as this…..person buzzes your apartment #…..comes through your phone…..you buzz them in.

The only one that has a pass to get in the entrance is the mail delivery……they even drop off parcels.

Entry to the building is a code……apartment is a key access.

@Pepper You mean you can just go to your bank and tell them you're broke and they give you money? Dang! I wanna bank there.

Apropos to nothing at all, it occurred to me this morning that I don't own a pair of heels. Not only do I not own a pair of heels, I don't even own a...dress, also known as a girl suit. I don't own a girl suit. Nope.
 
Have been on an RV camping trip at a California Central Coast beach (Morro Bay) for the past 8 days. Had a little time on the internet but not much, so I've missed a lot of the big doings here.

First and foremost, wishing you a very happy belated (or early for next year) birthday, @hollydolly! May this be a wonderful year for you, filled with joy and happy surprises!

thanks Star... my dear friend.. who went camping without me.. hrrrmph !!😖..and on my birthday too... 😭
 
Our camping trip was lovely... This is "The Rock" at Morro Bay. Wide sand beaches here. Lots of surfing.
We walked the beaches and boardwalks. So relaxing. Took the dog with us - Ozzy's first camping trip. He adjusted very well and was surprisingly relaxed.

Today I'll be taking care of laundry and some business chores. Then making out a list for grocery shopping tomorrow. Typical of post vacation, today will be a thrill-a-minute day. :cool:

you know, I've been absolutely freezing today. Got 3 layers of clothing on.. and then eventually I had to turn the heating on for an hour. I was wondering if I was sickening for something tbh... 😷
