Just returned from taking Mac to the vet for shots & health check.
Mac weights 26.6 pounds at age 2 years, which I think is big for a Boston Terrier.
According to the kennels club.. a Boston terriers should weigh between 4.5 kg - 11kg... ( 24 pounds)... so he's only a couple of pounds overweight.. cut back a little bit of food for a week, and give him an extra run.. and he'll lose that in no time

My wife’s hearing aid isn’t working right again. Back for another adjustment. Need to pick up a prescription at CVS also. No doubt coffee stop will be involved.
I am sure that the coffee stop will solve the hearing aid problem. ;)
And will also fix whatever ailment, the script is for. And every other challenge to the day, for either or both of you! :giggle:;):ROFLMAO::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee:

Yesterday morning was cold. I hung some laundry on the balcony, and it froze! Then this morning I woke up to see a light dusting of snow. I'm confident that in a couple of days the weather will be lovely again.

I have a couple of library books due. I was thinking of going to the library today, but then I remembered my priorities. If I go to the library, I'll probably go somewhere else as well (e.g., grocery store) and arrive home exhausted. I renewed the books online so I'll have energy for my exercises, etc.

So I'll make sure I get my exercises done, while listening to audio book. IF have time and energy after that, I'll sort some recycling and take it to the recycle center.

Before I go (if I go), I'll have a look at the supermarket's online flyer. They stopped having a printed flyer. Grrr.

Talk to language partner this evening, and done. Thank you for reading.

I got the lawns cut earlier... and I sprinkled some more grass seed down where the last lot hadn't grown after I scarified the lawn a couple of weeks ago..

After I;d mowed the lawns I sowed some wild flowers onto a far corner of the garden, just to see if they manage to grow by themselves...

Garden waste gets taken tomorrow, so I need to get that bin out front soon..

Spoke with our son last night, by phone, and he's busy raising bees on a piece of property he bought right up the road in Hebron. An open field, some woodland, and a brook crossing the property. Haven't seen the place yet but hope to this spring.
That's way out in the country. Hebron is about 37 miles to the east of me. Beautiful out there.

spent a day in Vienna once seeing a friend off back to uk - loved the place but we also had an austrian mate acting as tour guide - he died a few yrs back - wished we could just live for ever - it would make life so much simpler? - we stayed with him in his small village of romachechen or summat like that and he was an amazin guide for us. that was a great time adn the austrian are very proper and polite but friendly too and do like their food and wine

Well, yesterday I began my bone broth trial for my doggie. Bought a slow cooker. Bought a bunch of beef and pork bones, also chicken paws for the next batch.

The slow cooker is large and heavy! 10 and 1/2 cups water, a Tbsp of vinegar (per the recipe), started it on low at 5:19 pm yesterday and shut it off at almost 9:30 this morning.

I had to remove the bones first, then with a 2-cup measure, transfer the both to the strainer set up onto a pot. The dang thing is too heavy to just dump all at once. So, I have a pot and a plastic container full of bone broth cooling down. When the fat rises and hardens, I'll remove it. Voila!

Before I bought all the bones, I also bought her a package of glucosamine & chondroiton chews , which I don't believe will work, therefore the bone broth. I also got her some Dog Aspirin which I wrap in a piece of cheese and serve with food. She's been getting a bit slower....

Her new 3-step stairs should be here Thurs for the couches.

Taking the wife to the airport tomorrow. She will be gone for two weeks, so should be getting a lot done in the shop. Goofy weather here also, sunshine one minute, and sleet the next, but the snow is going really fast. The creek is roaring, and we're still a few weeks away from high water, best check the dehydrated food supply on the Ark. Have a great day Y'all.
