What are you doing today 2023

I have a day off from the rink, so I spent most of the day backing up Andy's pictures and videos. I've stopped crying, but I'm still a mess...don't feel like doing anything but mope around.

@Trila Oh, no! Andycat is gone?

I didn't play in the dirt because I didn't feel like it. Besides, the wind is awful at about 30mph. Maybe tomorrow after work.

I did two loads of laundry, though. It's all folded/hung up/put away.

And I had a hankering for tuna noodle casserole. It just came out of the oven. Every now and then it's something from the olden days (fish on Friday!) that I swore I'd never eat again...and then I do. As soon as it's cool enough, I'm gonna chow down because I'm hungry.

@Trila, most of us have said goodbye to a beloved four-footed member of the family and know the pain of that parting.

Sending hugs your way as you look at Andy's pictures and miss him sorely.
I'll be fine. Today is the anniversary of Andy coming into our family, 3 yrs ago. He was sick with a variety of issues since the day we got him. We always knew that his time with us would be cut short, but we had hoped that it wouldn't be so soon.

I've tagged you in my thread.

Business chore completed. Yay! Finished counting, sorting and tagging the second shipment - only 30 cartons this time. They'll go to embroidery tomorrow or Tuesday, and some of the 44 cartons DH dropped off a few weeks ago will be ready for him to pick up, verify, and deliver to our customer.

I'll place the third order for the rest of what's needed for this particular school order, but will wait until we deliver all of the first 44 cartons, lest our home look too much like a warehouse with big boxes coming and going.

Also don't want to overwhelm the school store personnel. They won't start selling in earnest for next year's term until July 1st, so there's no pressure from them yet.

Ran that load of laundry and did a little food prep but listened to my back and called it quits for the day. Don't want the back to really start complaining. Mopping can wait until the morning as can the other stuff that would be on my to-do list if I were the type of person who makes lists. Which I'm not. But DH definitely is.

I do wish you luck...I'm a little bit like your friend.. and my saviour was the estranged o/h who is very technically minded , now no longer here, so I've had to learn a lot more by myself this last 20 months.. still not very good.. so when you're finished , can you pack up and come here, and give my Mac a good dressing down... :sneaky::LOL:
I would if I could but still working on friend's problem. Would be nice if we could do some time and space travel eh !

I got a clean install of W10home and that is good, All the nasty stuff has gone but in doing so we lost access to her gmail account.
She cannot access it now without a Google Account.
Seems one has to have that app now before you can get a gmail account. She has also lost access to her provider mail account. They say it is obsolete, so she has to phone them to get a new account.

This all happened after she was told she needed a new hard drive. I know for sure she didn't but I was going through a bad time with thumb thing then so could not help and the techie who did it did not bother to check it out so a lot of info was lost with the new drive. Thankfully she had the new disc so I reinstalled that too and now we got her printer up and running. She has no backups and doesn't really know what a USB is. I got too tired so we need another session. However she did send me home with a portion of home made meatloaf and a portion of vegetables also 2 slices of home made fruit cake....yum

What are your problems with Mac. Mine is great. Late 2015 and still running smoothly but a little slower. The odd glitch after updates but really no complaints.
The one thing I do miss is the System Restore which in Windows was just great.

No problems really , Miz... just pulling your leg really.. altho' I could do with someone explaining why when my External HD's are plugged into my mac all the photos replicate themselves dozens of times into my Photos.. effectively preventing my Mac from performing.. so the External HD's have to stay unplugged.. but someone would have to work on it to see what's happening, I'm sure..

just remembered something from my kidling days, whenever
I got a rash from ivy as a kid my mom would squeeze out
the juice from Rubarb and it would dry up the rash in a couple days......
Can you find any rhubarb at this time of year. Maybe it’s already growing where you live. Buy some if you can find it.

It rained here all day, so I did what you do on a typical rainy day. I cleaned out my closets. I never realized I had so many clothes. I have 4 walk-in closets and they were all full. I now gave 2 completely empty. A lot of the stuff is still in its original packaging. I’m not sure what to do with it. Do I call someone? I don’t want to just sit it out at one of those collection boxes.
